Plattsburgh Adolph J. "Gus" Bardis, 87, of Tom Miller Road, passed away Monday, May 26, 2008 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born Brooklyn on July 2, 1920, son of the late John and Helen (Rekliatis) Bardis. Adolph was employed by Ansco Corporation, GAF and lastly Anitec Corporation in Binghamton, New York for forty six years. He was an avid skier, fisherman, golfer and outdoorsman. Adolph enjoyed photography. Adolph is survived by his wife, Helen (Farrell) Bardis of Plattsburgh, they were married for fifty three years, three children, Mary Bardis and her husband, Andrew Cuthbert of Dania, Florida, Ann Bardis and Michael Fair of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Paul Bardis and his wife, Lucy Limberis of Plattsburgh, three grandchildren, Andy Fair, Billy Fair and Niko Bardis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a date and time to be announced from Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, Vestal, New York. Donations in Adolph's memory may be made to the Emergency Medical Team in Vestal, New York, 13850.
