Agnes M Kennedy

Valcour Mrs. Agnes M. Kennedy, 88, of Valcour, Peru, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the UVM Health Network- CVPH in Plattsburgh with family by her side. She was born in Philadelphia, Pa. on December 29, 1926, the daughter of the late Michael and Marie (Carey) Sweeney. Agnes was employed at the PAFB Base Exchange and also at CVPH Medical Center for several years and enjoyed gardening and crossword puzzles. She is survived by her children, Michael J. Kennedy, Jr. and his wife Brenda of Mars Hill, NC and Mark L. Kennedy of Valcour, her grandchildren; Erick Kennedy and his wife Brianna, Megan Ann and Randy Smith, Koryn Kennedy and Ryan M. Kennedy, a great-grandson, Connor James Kennedy , Brandon and Nora Smith ,a nephew and his wife, Gerald and Cora Iby; two great-nephews, Lewis and Jayson Iby; and a great-niece, Jennifer Iby. She was predeceased by her husband, Col. Michael J. Kennedy (USAF retired) in 2001, a daughter Maureen Ann Kennedy in February of 2014.
