Allen D Brown

Allen D. Brown, 62, of Brown Road, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the UVM Health Network-CVPH with family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh on April 28, 1956, the son of the late Albert and Mildred (Martino) Brown. Allen was employed for many years as a Loader Operator for Graymont Materials in Plattsburgh. Allen enjoyed wildlife photography, wood working, motorcycles, and sipping coffee in his truck by the lake. He had a fondness of animals and was a frequent donor to animal charities and Christmas charities for children. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lois (Bousquet) Brown, his daughters and their spouses; Brandy and Yaovi Brown of Peru, Amber Brown-Rose and husband Jason Rose of Plattsburgh, his granddaughter, Willow Brown, his sister; Joan and husband Lee Yelle of Ellenburg Center; his brother Wayne Brown of Plattsburgh, his sisters in law and brothers in law; Gladys Trudeau, Terry Bousquet, Edward Bousquet, John Bousquet, Tina Bousquet-Wood, and their spouses. His nieces and nephews; Wayne "Buck" Brown, Melissa "Muffy" Brown, Robert Trudeau, Shari Trudeau, Kristi Wiedeman, Christopher Trudeau, Angela Dominie, Kyle Bousquet, Mindy Burdo, Beth Bousquet, Steven Wood, Stephanie Wood, Jessica Desourdy, and all of their families, numerous great nieces and nephews, and his co-workers who were like family to him. He was predeceased by his parents, sisters in law; Gloria Brown and Tammy Bousquet, a brother in law; Robert Trudeau, father in law and mother in law; Wayne and Etta Bousquet. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow at 5:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial donations may be offered to the family.
