Allen J Lucia

Allen J. Lucia, 72, formerly of Plattsburgh passed away January 25, 2021 at the hospital in Gainsville, FL. He was born in Plattsburgh on June 7, 1949 the son of Joseph and Viola (Jarvis) Lucia. Allen worked at Marriott at SUNY Plattsburgh before moving to Florida in 1995. He enjoyed cooking and playing bingo. Allen served as Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council 8917. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church in Florida.

Allen was predeceased by his father, Joseph and a brother Andrew.

He is survived by his, wife Theresa (Duprey) Lucia, his children, Stephen Lucia and his companion Cynthia Vallieres of Dannemora, Jennifer (Duane) Venable of Interlachen, FL, his mother Viola Lucia of Plattsburgh, his siblings Lorraine (Donald) Duprey of Plattsburgh, Elaine Robinson of Tucson, AZ, Joseph (Linda) Lucia of Grand Forks, ND, 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Saturday September 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Chazy with the Rev. William G. Reamer, officiating.
