Allen R Spoor

Allen R. Spoor, 59, of Spoor Drive, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021 at his home with family by his side and under the care of Hospice of the North Country after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Plattsburgh on January 21, 1962, the son of Richard and Mary Carol (Porter) Spoor.
Allen graduated from Beekmantown Central School . He was employed by Imperial Paper Mill and UPS in Champlain. Allen enjoyed helping on the family farm, tending to his gardens and being outside. He was a former member of the West Chazy Fire Department.
He is survived by his daughter Jessica Spoor LaPorte of West Chazy, his son Lee Spoor of Keeseville, his mother; Mary Carol Spoor of Mooers, his siblings and their spouses; Steve Spoor of Arizona, Randy and Tammy Spoor of West Chazy, Christina and Hap LaForest of West Chazy, Brandi and Gary Bourgeois of Mooers his grandchildren; Korbin Hatfield, Schyler Spoor, Gavin Barber Spoor, Matthew Spoor, and his nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his son Corey Spoor and his father Richard Spoor.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. Memorial donations may be offered to the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center or Hospice of the North Country. Allen’s family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center and the Hospice Nurses for all their care and compassion.
