Alvin E Wood

Alvin E. Wood, 83, of Altona, NY, passed away on Tuesday July 5, 2022 at Elizabethtown Community Hospital in Elizabethtown, NY. He was born in Altona, on November 16, 1938 the son of John and Eva (Peryer) Wood.

He was predeceased by a grandson, Justin Reyell, his parents, a brother John Wood, brothers-in-law Ray Devins and James Milen, a sister-in-law Ramona Wood.

Alvin is survived by his children; Allen (Linda Whalen) Wood, Penny (Jonathon) Dezan, Stella Wood, Becky (Tim), Tyler, grandchildren; Kristy and Neil, Jon Curtis and Lynn, Jimmy Lee and Finn, A.J. and Carrie, Scott and Lynne and Timmy and Buffy, great grandchildren; Dakota, Kim, Shyan, Kylee, Grace, Willow, Ivy, Hunter, Wyatt, Titan, Dallas, Jameson, Riley, Emma and Aisyln, great great grandchildren; Jackson and Walter, his siblings; Mary Milen and Phil Devins, several nieces and nephews also survive him.

A graveside service will be held on Friday July 8, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Holy Angels Cemetery in Altona.
