Amanda R Hilton

Amanda R. Hilton, 39, of Military Turnpike, Schuyler Falls, NY, passed away on Saturday July 23, 2022. She was born in Warwick, RI, the daughter of Fred and Dorothy (King) Hilton.

Amanda attended Northern Adirondack Central School and later graduated from Clinton Community College. She was employed at Schluter Systems for several years.

Amanda liked to travel and drove across the country many times, exploring as she went. She was ready for adventure at the drop of a hat. She enjoyed doing anything outside, hula hooping, riding bikes, flying kites and making craft with her son, niece and nephew. She liked hiking and skiing with Dacks and making her sister sing Karoake. She found joy in spending time with her family and friends. Family was the most important thing to Amanda. The greatest joy in her life is her son Dacks. She loved spending time with him. Everything she did, she did for him. She couldn’t have loved him more. We will miss her forever.

Amanda is survived by her son Dacks Lee Cook, her parents Fred and Dorothy, her sister Pauline Hilton, her niece and nephew La Reine and Eli DuBois, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her grandparents, Fred and Evelyn Herrith Hilton, Harry and Pauline Lasher King, a step grandmother, Rosemary Seguin King, an aunt, Louise Barton and a cousin Harry LeClair.

Calling hours will be held on Friday July 29, 2022 from 2:00 to 5:30 at the Brown Funeral Home in Altona. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday July 30, 2022 at 10:00 am at Holy Angels Church in Altona.
