Andrew N Bedard

Andrew N. Bedard, 93, of West Chazy, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the UVM-CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with his loving family by his side. He was born in West Chazy on February 3, 1928, the son of Joseph and Rosa (Martin) Bedard.
He owned and operated his dairy farm until his retirement. He was a lifelong member of St. Joseph’s Church, West Chazy. He enjoyed playing cards, dancing, listening to country music and watching baseball. He married Rosie Vivier on July 26, 1952 in St.Benard Church, LaColle, Quebec.
He is survived by his five children; Marie (Rick) Turcotte, Linda (Jon) Greenwood, Michael (Barbara) Bedard, Clement Bedard, Carol Bedard six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, his sisters Jean Depo, Rose Ducharme, and Irene Williams, his brother and sisters in law, Henry and Sue Bedard and Anita Vivier, his companion Patricia Racine, and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, his wife in 2011, his sisters and brothers-in-law, Rita and Emery Lushia, Teresa and Leo Giroux, Bernard Ducharme, Roswell Depo, Robert Williams Sr., Adrien and Rita Senecal, Marcel LaRoche and Aime Vivier.
There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the spring with burial to follow in St. Joseph’s Church, West Chazy.
