Anita M Lemire

Anita M. Lemire, 92, of Plattsburgh, passed away Friday, July 15, 2022 at Meadowbrook Healthcare with family by her side. She was born in Altona on October 28, 1929, the daughter of the late Henry and Gertrude (Mayo) Pelkey Sr.
On July 9, 1955 Anita married Rosaire Lemire. Anita was a long-time resident of Mooers, NY where she raised her family. She retired from CVPH in 1993. During her later life she resided in Plattsburgh, NY. Anita enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and playing cards with her friends.
She is survived by her children and their spouses; daughter Vickie and her husband, Larry Belrose, son Rick and his wife, Judy Lemire, along with granddaughter Tegan Belrose and grandsons Casey Belrose, Aaron Lemire and Tyler Lemire, his wife Meghan and their children Calvin Lemire and Nora Lemire. She is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law Henry and Paulette Pelkey Jr. and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her spouse Rosaire Lemire; parents, Henry and Gertrude Pelkey Sr.; and her sister, Mildred Jubert.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Entombment will be in the Plattsburgh Community Mausoleum. Memorial donations may be made to the Foundation of CVPH.
