Ann M. Munson

Ann M. Munson, 95, of Plattsburgh, passed away on March 18, 2025 at the UVM Health Network-CVPH with her loving family by her side. She was born in Churubusco, NY on March 16, 1930, the daughter of Benjamin and Bessie (Breen) Franklin. She was a diehard New York Yankee Fan. Ann enjoyed trips to the casino and was an avid bowler. She was a professional Quick Draw Player-(1-11-21) and was a past Clinton County Horseshoe Champion. Ann's greatest love was spending time with her family.Ann and her husband John were longtime owners of North Bowl Lanes in Plattsburgh, where she was known by the staff as the "Little General." Ann is survived by her children; Daniel (Brenda) Munson and their children Katie (Caleb) and Daniel, Patti Caldwell and her daughter Jessica (Joey), Robert (Kathie) Munson and his daughters Karlie and Allison (Eli), his step children J.D. and Kyle, John (Pamela) Munson and their children Ryan (Kayla) and Sara (Andrew), her in-laws; Veronica Franklin, George Munson, Gene (June) Munson, Betty O'Connell and Marlene Munson, her great grandchildren, Alek, Ryker, Phynlee, Jude, Keegan, Kayne, Jett and Jordi and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Ann’s caregivers, especially Brenda and Nikki and the staff at CVPH Medical Center and Meadowbrook Healthcare as well as a special thanks to Dr. DeMangles. Calling hours will be held on Friday March 21, 2025 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. Entombment will be at the Town of Plattsburgh Community Mausoleum.
