Ann Novoselec

Ann Lesley Masters Novoselec, 92, formerly of Maryland Road passed away Friday December 25, 2020 at Meadowbrook. She was born in Sussex, England on January 10, 1928 the daughter of Leslie G. and Marjorie (Luckly) Masters.
During WWII she served in the Women’s Land Army of England. After the war, she travelled to Toronto, Canada where she met and married Cyril P. Novoselec, a native of Croatia. She and Cyril became U. S. Citizens in 1988.
Ann worked in the accounting department at CVPH for twenty years. She and Cyril formed Cam-Tec, a successful microscope and camera repair business from their home in Chazy. The Novoselecs brought their gardening skills with them, where beautiful landscaping and flower bed embellished their acerage.
Ann was a member of the Adirondack Mountain Club and a former president of the Algonquin Chapter. She had many good friendships with the members of that chapter who became her “American family.” Ann enjoyed hiking, cross-country skiing, sailing, water color painting and travelling. She was a gracious hostess to all her friends and annual cider making parties were a highlight of each fall season.
When Ann and Cyril moved to Plattsburgh, they became parishioners of St. Peter’s Church and Ann volunteered with the Bethany Grief Ministry of the church. She also volunteered with Literacy Volunteers.
Ann was predeceased by her parents, her brother Jerry; and her husband Cyril in August 2019. She is survived by two nephews Ian and Philip Masters of Sussex, England.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 2:00 pm at St. Peter's Church, Plattsburgh.
