Anna Mae Goldfarb

Anna Mae Goldfarb, 95 of Plattsburgh, NY passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the UVM CVPH Medical Center. She was born in Plattsburgh, NY on March 10, 1925, the daughter of Alfred and Eva (Rasco) Cadieux.
For several years, Anna worked in the cafeteria at Clinton Community College. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was everything to her. She enjoyed baking, especially her Christmas cookies for relatives and friends. She also loved to cook big meals for holidays and share her recipes. Halloween was a favorite time for her because family came together sharing Lashway’s michigans, pizza and Chinese food along with orange cream soda in a glass bottle. She also loved traveling with her family, especially cruises. She was an avid gardener.
She is survived by her sons, Steven (companion, Sandy Lambert) Goldfarb, Terry (Joanna) Goldfarb, Scott (Cheryl) Goldfarb. Daughter-in-laws, Beverly Robinson and Dianne Kappas. Her grandchildren, Kimberly (Dean) Lashway, Kelly (Mickey) LaFountain, Christopher Goldfarb, Nicholas (Yvonne) Sauvie, Melissa (Stephen) Fuller, Aaron (Samantha) Goldfarb, Adam Goldfarb, Jeff Prenoveau, Stephen (Sarah) Prenoveau & children, Danny (Rose) Prenoveau & children, Michelle (Eric) Fortin & children. Great grandchildren, Emily (Daniel) Poirier, Jonathan & Anna Lashway, Joshua LaFountain, Jacob (companion, Natasha Vella) LaFountain, Olivia Fuller, Oaklynn Goldfarb, and Lauren & Todd Goldfarb. Great-Great grandchildren, Wyatt and Wade Poirier.
Anna was predeceased by her parents, her many siblings, the love of her life and loving husband Walter, and daughter-in-law Patti Goldfarb.
Our family would like to thank the staff at Meadowbrook for the excellent care they provided for our beloved Anna Mae. Anna-banana loved you all.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Victory Church in Plattsburgh. Burial will immediately follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
