Anna M. Rock, 93, formerly of Plattsburgh, NY died on June 28, 2017 at Meadowbrook Health Care with her family by her side. She was born in Dannemora, NY on February 9, 1924 the daughter of Art and Ida (Betters) Thompson. Anna worked many years in the restaurant business including the Witherill Hotel, Filions and managed The Monopole restaurant for many years and one of her greatest joys was being in the commercials for Wilson's Appliances especially as the "general." Anna loved meetings people and always had a smile to give them. She loved music and was always the first one on the dance floor. She is survived by her twin daughters, Brenda Fuller and son-in-law Alan, Linda Liberty-Guimond and son-in-law Len Guimond. Grandchildren Gil Liberty, Jr., Norma (Larry) Jenson, William (Heather) Fuller and Heidi (Courtne) Fuller and Nathan (Sue) Wilson whom she always thought of as a grandson, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband of forty-four years Norman Rock in 1992, her daughter Norma in 1951, her brother Richard Thompson and sisters Isabelle Gordon, Helen Kourofsky and Ruth Dutton. There will be no public calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John's Church in Keeseville on Friday, July 14 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Keeseville Volunteer Fire Department or the Keeseville Free Library.
