Annette St. Onge Facteau, 103, Lynde Street Plattsburgh, NY passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014 at CVPH Medical Center. She was born in Shawinigan, Quebec, Canada, the daughter of Edmond and Flore (Gravel) St. Onge, on October 5, 1910. Annette grew up in Shawinigan and was a teacher there for several years. She met her future husband Leo G. Facteau at a wedding they attended in Louiseville, Quebec.. They were married at St. Marc Church in Shawinigan, Canada on April 10, 1944, Leo served his country during World War II in the Army Air Corps. During his time in the service Annette was able to travel with him. After the war was over they returned to Plattsburgh and after many years of Leo working in the insurance business, he and Annette started Leo G. Facteau Insurance Agency. She was a member of St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh. Annette was predeceased by her parents, two brothers; Antoine and Alexandre St. Onge, a sister; Eva Dery, her husband Leo in 1985 and a brother-in-law Bernard Facteau. She is survived by three sisters-in-law; Anita (Richard) Dubrey, Genevieve Facteau and Therese Dessureault St. Onge, she is also survived by many nieces and nephews, living in the United States and Canada. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday February 26, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday February 27, 2014 at 10:30 am at St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh, burial will be later in the spring at St. Peter's Cemetery.
