Plattsburgh Mr. Anthony C. "Tony" Gordon, 68, of Pine Avenue, Plattsburgh, New York passed away Thursday, July 21, 2011 at the CVPH Medical Center with his loving family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh, New York on October 17, 1942 the son of Clifford Harold and Harriett (Morrison) Gordon. Tony was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving two tours in Vietnam. He enjoyed crafts, woodworking and collecting Match Box Cars. Tony was a Life Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1466 in Beekmantown. He had worked at Plattsburgh State University College before becoming disabled. Tony was predeceased by his parents Clifford and Harriett Gordon. He is survived by his wife of thirty eight years, JoAnn K. (Rabideau) Gordon of Plattsburgh, one daughter Shirley Gordon and her companion Roger Forgette of Plattsburgh, three grand daughters Ashley, Cheyenne and Kayleigh all of Plattsburgh, his best friend Patrick Burke of Plattsburgh, several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. At Anthony's request there will be no calling hours. Committal services with military honors will be held Monday July 25, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at Whispering Maples Memorial Gardens on the Tom Miller Road.
