Anthony Tarricone, 94, of Plattsburgh passed away Monday in his home with his loving wife by his side and under the care of hospice. He was born in Yonkers on August 13, 1926. The son of George and Nancy Tarricone. He graduated Horton High School in Yonkers. He also graduated from Champlain College in Plattsburgh New York with a bachelor’s in fine arts. He first worked for Lloyds of London after that he started work at Trans World Airlines and he retired from there in 1988. He was an officer of the Knights of Columbus. He was in the Navy. He was also an usher for Saint Peters church. He loved golfing and gardening.
Tony was a sweet and kind man that loved spending time with his family. They meant the world to him. He is survived by his wife of 70 years Carolyn (Tourville) Tarricone who loved him dearly. Also surviving are his nieces Francine and Marie Auclarie, his nephew Michael Auclarie, his sister in laws Gloria Manny and Silvia Stack and his brother in law William Tourville. He is predeceased by his daughter Maria Louise Tarricone Giglio, his parents Nancy and George Tarricone, his sister Delores and his brother Joseph Tarricone.
Calling hours will be Monday June 14, 2021 from 12:00 pm to1:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:30 pm at St. Peter’s Church in Plattsburgh. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
