Antoine D "Andy" Latour

Antoine “Andy” D. Latour, 81, of Rickson Avenue, Morrisonville, NY, passed away on Friday May 17, 2019 at UVHN:CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Plattsburgh on March 9, 1938 the son of Nelson and Evelyn (Fournier) Latour, Sr.
Andy married the love of his life Charlotte Champagne at St. Alexander’s Church on June 23, 1962. He worked at Diamond International, which later became Pactiv for 35 years, before retiring in 1992. Andy loved being a member and fire commissioner of the Morrisonville Volunteer Fire Department for over 50 years. He enjoyed traveling, stock car racing, hunting, fishing, air shows and the New York Yankees.
Andy was predeceased by his parents, his infant sister Julia, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Vernon and Joanne Champagne.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Charlotte Latour, their children; Kimberly Latour and son Scott Latour and his wife Lisa, a grandson Nathaniel Fletcher, two brothers; Nelson (Marie) Latour, Jr. and Lawrence (Wanda) Latour, several nieces and nephews also survive him.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. Members of the Clinton County Fireman’s Association are asked to meet at the funeral home for a vigil service at 6:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday May 23, 2019 at 11:00 am at St. Alexander’s Church in Morrisonville, burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations in Andy’s memory may be made to the Morrisonville Fire Dept. or the Foundation of CVPH for the H. K. Freedman Renal Center.
