Arlene G Pepper

Chazy Mrs. Arlene G. Pepper, 80, of the Ratta Road, Chazy, NY passed away Sunday, November 24, 2013 at the CVPH Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was born in Mineville, NY on March 16, 1933 the daughter of Thomas and Cora (DeLorge) Tilley. Arlene had worked at the Horace Nye Nursing Home and later at Clinton County Nursing Home retiring in 1995. She enjoyed bowling, gambling, going to the casino, playing bingo and spending time with her family and friends. Arlene was a member of the 600 Club and Sacred Heart Church in Chazy. She was predeceased by her parents, a son Donald W. "Pep" Pepper, Jr., and a daughter and son-in-law Candice and Harlow Bailey and her sister Shirley Trombley. Arlene is survived by her husband of sixty two years Donald W. "Stub" Pepper of Chazy, three daughters; Brenda Drummond and her husband Wayne of Westport, Nancy Munson and her husband Bob of Plattsburgh, Kelly McCormick and her husband Patrick of Plattsburgh, a son Thomas Pepper and his wife Karen of Chazy, ten granddaughters, eleven great grandchildren, her canine companions; Brownie and George, two brothers; Roger Tilley and his wife Carolyn, Raymond Tilley and his wife Glenda, one sister Barbara Trombley, several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Friday, November 29, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, NY. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the family plot at the Black River Cemetery in Elizabethtown on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Friends wishing may make donations to Alzheimer's Research.
