Arma Rollier

Arma Rollier, formerly of Plattsburgh, NY, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018, three days before her 105th birthday, at the Westminster Village Retirement Center in Dover, DE. She was born in Wolf Pond, NY on May 16, 1913, the daughter of Louis and Josephine (Bosjolie) Rollier. At the age of 4, her family moved to a farm near Plattsburgh. She attended the local one-room School until entering High School at D'Youville Academy. Following graduation she attended Plattsburgh Normal School, earning a teacher's diploma; later teaching in the one-room school she once attended. She earned a Libriarian Certificate at SUNY Albany and worked in the Schenectady County Library System until her retirement in 1974. She is predeceased by her parents, her siblings; Margaret Erno, Marion Squires, Paul Rollier and Clifford Rollier. She is survived by a sister Claire Turrisi of Felton, DE, several nieces and nephews also survive her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday May 18, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Peter's Church, interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
