Arthur C Fassett

Plattsburgh Mr. Arthur C. Fassett, 68, of South Catherine Street , passed away Thursday, February 12, 2009 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born at Chazy Lake on March 7, 1940, the son of Arthur and Beatrice (Baker) Fassett . He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Greenland. He was an auto mechanic for many years at Demary & Rock and McMartin Motors in Plattsburgh. He was a member of American Legion Post 20 in Plattsburgh. He is survived by his wife Shirley, his children Sandie Fassett and her companion Alvin Martin of Plattsburgh, Kelly Fassett of Plattsburgh, Shannon Parrott and companion Terry Alexander of Plattsburgh , Dalonda St. John and companion Dennis Duprey of Chazy, a brother and sister in law Roswell and Shirley Fassett of Beekmantown, a sister and brother in law, Velma and Richard Drew of Clintonville, 8 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, two sisters, Linda and Beatrice , a nephew Roswell and a niece Simone. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2009 from 2 to 4 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2009 at 4 pm from the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street in Plattsburgh.
