Arthur "Larry" Laplante

Plattsburgh Mr. Arthur "Larry" LaPlante, 61, of South Acres Road in Plattsburgh, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at his home. He was born in Plattsburgh on November 6, 1952, the son of the late Arthur J. and Joyce E. (Brooks) LaPlante, Jr. Larry was employed for the Clinton County Highway Department for over 10 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors. He is survived by a sister and brother in law; Roxanne and Gary Bresee of Saratoga Springs, his nephew and nieces; Eric, Jamee Bresee- Slivka and her husband Peter and Katie Bresee, and many close friends including NAMES. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the North Country Cancer Fund.
