Audrey L. (Webster) Brien, 79 of Route 3, Saranac, NY and formerly of Albion, NY passed away on Monday June 1, 2009 at her home with her family by her side. She was born in Kendall, NY on March 30, 1930 the daughter of Frank and Sylvia (Bolsey) Webster. Audrey worked at Delco/Rochester Products in Rochester retiring after 30 years. After retiring Audrey and her husband Wallice moved to the Adirondacks and Saranac, NY. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 1618 in Saranac. She served as a Den Mother in Boy Scouts of America when her children were growing up. Audrey loved playing cards, reading, soap operas, movies old and new and family gatherings. She also enjoyed gardening, feeding her birds and caring for her animals. Aside from her love of the outdoors she spent most of her time cooking and preparing big meals for her family and the large gatherings she would host at her home. Audrey also loved to travel, whether it was camping with her husband or going on vacation. Her greatest joy was being a grandmother, she was always happy spending time with her grandchildren and spoiling them all in her own special way. She was predeceased by her parents, a granddaughter Kerstin Brien and a daughter in law Maryann Brien. Audrey is survived by her husband Wallice H. Brien of Riverview, NY, Eight children; Judy Curtis and her husband George of Albion, NY, Richard Brien and his wife Linda of Albion, NY, Thomas Brien and his wife Bonnie of Albion, NY, Randy Brien of Saranac, NY, Ronald Brien and his wife Sandy of Minnesota, Jeff Brien and his wife Misun of Saranac, NY, Gary Brien and his wife Christine of Albion, NY, Benjamin Brien and his wife Liza of Redford, NY, 18 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Four sisters, a brother and several nieces and nephews also survive her. Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday June 3, 2009 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Cadyville, NY. A funeral service will follow at 8:00 in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
