Austin J Jubert Sr

Austin J. Jubert Sr., 84, of Miner Farm Road in Altona passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the UVMHN-CVPH in Plattsburgh with his loving family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh on July 1, 1930, the son of Isar and Eva (LaPierre) Jubert. Austin served his country during the Korean War serving in the United States Army. He married Julia Daniels on July 9, 1955 at St. Joseph's Church in West Chazy. Austin drove tractor trailer his whole life. He was a member of the VFW Post 1466 in Beekmantown, and the Teamsters. When Austin wasn't working, he loved to ride his lawnmower, taking much pride in keeping up his large pristine lawn. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Julia, his siblings; Rena, Helene, Renette, and Isar, Jr. Austin is survived by his children and their spouses; Austin and Terry Jubert, Jr. of West Chazy, Darlene and Ron Parmeter, Sr. of Morrisonville, Dale Jubert of West Chazy, David Jubert of Altona, Ricky and Tina Jubert of Morrisonville, Chris Jubert and companion Sheila Burgess of Cadyville, a sister Joann and Olin Whittington, his grandchildren and spouses; Amy and Mark Cross, Ron and Stephanie Parmeter, Jr., Eric Parmeter and his companion Tammy Bergen, Katie Jubert and her companion Timmy Gardner, Kyle Jubert, Megan Jubert and her companion Cameron Hines, Elizabeth Jubert and her companion Kolby Rawleigh, Chad Jubert, his great grandchildren; Jordan and Elias Cross, Trent Parmeter, Taylor Jubert, Logan and Ian Jubert, Kolin Gardner, several sisters in law, nieces and nephews also survive him. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will take place at 5:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will be on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 11:00 am at Whispering Maples Mausoleum, Ellenburg Depot, with military honors.
