BAHIA DERGHAM 1932-2008 "A LIFE LIVED FOR OTHERS IS A LIFE WORTHWHILE.... OUR MAMA OUR TETA Bahia Dergham ,76, of Tequesta , Florida, passed away Friday, November 7, 2008 at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida. She was born in Bakifa, Lebanon on March 21, 1932. Daughter of the late Hussein and Fakhira El-Baradhi. The passion of her life were her children and grandchildren. Bahia was a mother like no other. Bahia was a member of the Red Hat Society, Little Club Golf League, Bocci League and was an avid gardener who especially enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Bahia is survived by her two sons and daughters in law, Ibrahim (Bobby) and Deborah Dergham of Plattsburgh, and Nadim and Rosemarie Dergham of Plattsburgh. Her four daughters, Raghida Dergham of NYC, Nahida Durham of Tequesta, Florida, Ghada Dergham of North Palm Beach, Florida and Rhonda Dergham of Plattsburgh. Her two sisters, Houda Bakour of Plattsburgh, Badr El-Baradhi of Lebanon, Two brothers Saeed El-Baradhi of Lebanon, Hafez El-Baradhi of Lebanon, Her eleven beautiful grandchildren, Oulli, Zeina, Mila, Layal, Cameron, Cayla, Thalia, Rhea, Coby, julian and Yasmene and the father of her children Nabih Dergham of Plattsburgh. Her deceased brother Fayez awaits her in heaven. Calling hours will be held Friday November 14, 2008 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street, Plattsburgh, New York 12901. A funeral service will be held on Saturday November 15, 2008 at 9:30 am from Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in Whispering Maples Gardens Mausoleum, Tom Miller Road, Plattsburgh New York. Following the cemetery services, a reception will be held at the home of her daughter, Rhonda, 48 Cook Road, Plattsburgh, New York. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida 33407 or to the Leukemia Foundation.
