Barbara M Braun

On Sunday, March 14,2021 , Barbara Braun, loving wife, mother, and grandmother was promoted to glory with her Lord. Barbara was born on June 23, 1949, in Plattsburgh, NY, to Lawrence and Geneva Gadway of Mooers Forks, NY.
Barbara worked as a nurse aide when she met Peter, who was in the USAF. Peter and Barbara would have celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary this June. Barbara served in her church for many years and loved serving her family. She was a faithful wife and mother, who was known for her gentle spirit and smile.
Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence, her mother, Geneva, and a sister.
She is survived by her husband, Peter, her 3 daughters, Joanne Baillargeon, Cathy Sterling, Jennifer Murray, her brother, Lawrence Gadway Jr. (Marylou) of Mooers Forks, sister, Annabelle Laforest, of Morrisonville, Sister, Marilyn Provoncha (Gary) of Mooers, Brother, Russell Gadway (Pam) of Rouses Point, brother Michael Gadway (Jana) of Lansdale, PA, brother, Ronald Gadway of Mooers Forks, and Jeff Gadway (Lori) of Seabrook, NH, and 10 grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held at Bible Baptist Church in Plattsburgh, on Route 9, on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 11:00 am. Please come at this time to pay your respects. A service will follow shortly after which will be a joyous time of hearing some of Barbara's favorite songs performed, along with hearing from her loved ones and family eulogizing the many different good times and memories with Barbara. Please join us, even if it can only be for a few minutes. A reception will immediately follow. Face masks are required. Donations in Barbara’s memory may be made to Bible Baptist Church--Children's Fund.
