Morrisonville Barbara M. Trombley, formerly Barbara M. TenEyck, 73, of Morrisonville, NY, died at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital on September 29, 2016 due to complications from Primary Lateral Sclerosis (PLS) and pneumonia. She was born May 25, 1943, in Dunham, Quebec, and married George P. Trombley (Taters) on March 24th 1962. Barbara was well known as a seamstress in the community prior to her retirement in 2006. Barbara is survived by four children; Troy from Reno, Nevada, Doug (Phyllis) from Woodbridge, VA, Roxanne (Trombley) Timberlake (Chris) from Vienna, VA, and S. Michael (Barbara Hance ) from Saranac, NY, a daughter-in-law Cyndi Trombley from Ambler, PA, and four grandchildren S. John Trombley (21), Shannon Trombley (18), Eli Timberlake (18), and Jena Timberlake (17). She is also survived by her mother, Erma TenEyck, and two siblings Joanne TenEyck and Charles TenEyck. She is pre-deceased by her loving husband, George Trombley, whom she was married to for 53 years and who passed away in January, her father John TenEyck and two brothers Arnold TenEyck and Roger TenEyck. Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 3, 2016 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will follow in the St. Peter's Cemetery Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Spastic Paraplegia Foundation, 1605 Goularte Place, Fremont, CA 94539.
