Barbara M Monette

Beekmantown Mrs. Barbara M. Monette, 73, of the Duquette Road, passed away Monday, April 23, 2012 at her home with her loving family by her side under the care of Hospice of the North Country. She was born in Norfolk, New York on April 23, 1939 the daughter of Ernest and Bernice (Deleel) Goodrich. Barbara had been a machine operator at Imperial Paper Mill. She enjoyed reading, helping others, traveling with her husband Morris until he passed away and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Barbara was predeceased by her parents, her husband Morris "Papa" Monette, her daughters; Jacqueline Worley White, Debbie Worley Fritz, a grand daughter Jacqueline Giddings, a grandson Brian Glennon, her sisters; Beverly Hoxie, Doris Loughren, Muriel Chambers, Carol Clark and a brother Wendell Goodrich. She is survived by her children, Chuck Worley and his girlfriend Darcy of Altona, Shon Worley and his wife Heather of Beekmantown, Carl Monette and his wife Missey of Plattsburgh, Mark Monette and his wife Bev of Chazy, Lori Manor and her husband David of Altona, Tina Monette of Ingraham, Nichole Lacey and her husband Corey of Beekmantown, Mindy Gaudette of Beekmantown, a sister Janet Prue and her husband Clifton of Newville, PA, her best buddy Joan Bigelow of Plattsburgh, 19 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Friday, April 27, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, New York. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 11:00 a. m. at the Brown Funeral Home, Chapel. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
