Beatrice "Bea" Arlt

Plattsburgh Mrs. Beatrice "Bea" Arlt, 86, of Beekman Towers in Plattsburgh, passed away Wednesday, October 06, 2010 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Plattsburgh, New York on July 20, 1924, the daughter of George and Mabel (Rabideau) Rock. Bea retired from Diamond International. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, puzzles and spending time with her family. Bea was a member of the Secular Order of St. Francis and she was a member of St. Peter's Church. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband George Arlt, two brothers, one in infancy and Herman Rock, her sisters Theresa Upton, Barbara Mumblo, Irene Venne and a son-in-law Hal St. Denis. Bea is survived by her children Carol St. Denis of Plattsburgh, Suzanne Arlt of Plattsburgh, Paul Arlt and his wife Jean of Morrisonville, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, her siblings, Mary Muchler and her husband Robert of Clearwater, FL, George Rock and his wife Theresa of PA, Esther Miller of Cadyville, several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 8, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 broad St. in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Church. Entombment will follow at Whispering Maples Mausoleum in Plattsburgh.
