Belva M Forkey

Plattsburgh Belva M. Forkey, 86, of Honey Drive, Plattsburgh, NY passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at CVPH Medical Center. She was born on May 1, 1926 in Altona, New York, the daughter of Earl and Beatrice (Bell) Corron. Belva enjoyed baking and cooking her own creations, word search puzzles, painting and most of all spending time with her family. She is predeceased by her parents Earl Corron and Beatrice Rushford, her late husband Gilbert J. Forkey, siblings; Shirley Caldwell, Eulala "Eukie" Drollette, and a son-in-law Donald Rock. She is survived by three sons, Jerry Forkey and his companion Jan Kelley of Plattsburgh, Terry Forkey and his wife Gail of West Chazy and Scott Forkey and his wife Lynn of Plattsburgh, a daughter; Susan Forkey-Rock of Plattsburgh; a brother Harold Corron of Milford, NH; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive her. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make donations to Hospice of the North Country or the charity of ones' choice.
