Bernard "Bernie" Reome Jr

Bernard E. "Bernie" Reome, Jr. 69, of Broadwell Road, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017 the UVM Health Network-CVPH with family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh on January 7, 1948, the son of Bernard and Margaret (LaPorte) Reome, Sr.. Bernie was employed as a Corrections Officer at Clinton Correctional facility for 30 years until his retirement. He enjoyed golfing and spending time at his winter home in Florida. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and his fur kids Lilly and Boots. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, his best friend, Toni (Parry) Reome, his children and their spouses; April and Mike Miner of Peru, Scott Reome of Morrisonville, his mother Margaret Reome of Morrisonville, his sister and brother in law; Linda and Frank Provost of Cadyville, his sisters in law and brothers in law; Kathy and Kevin Kezar, Russ Parry, Diana and Ted Toth ,his grandchildren; Lexi, Brayden, and Tanner ,and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Bernard E. Reome, Sr. a sister Betty O'Neill, his mother in law and father in law Winnie and Russ Parry and a brother in law Ricky Parry. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
