Beverly M Gannon

Beverly M. Gannon, 78, of Plattsburgh, NY, passed away on Monday October 31, 2022 at Meadowbrook Healthcare with her loving daughter by her side. She was born in Standish, NY on March 11, 1944 the daughter of Arthur and Beulah (Patnode) LaDuke.

She married John Gannon of Plattsburgh in 1967.

Beverly worked at SUNY Plattsburgh for almost 20 years prior to moving to Florida in 1981.

While in Florida she worked for Pinellas County Arts Council and EMS before retirement and moving back to NY in 2014.

Beverly loved to go for long walks and pick wildflowers and make homemade arrangements. She loved to work outdoors in the garden and with flowers. Beverly loved animals and frequently went to the pet store to visit with all of the strays looking for homes. She loved crafting and loved making homemade items for family to enjoy.

Beverly was predeceased by her parents, two brothers; Arthur and Harold and her husband of 42 years John who passed away in 2010.

She is survived by her daughter Terri Gannon and companion Tim Bedore of Plattsburgh, two sisters Shirley McKenna and her husband Thomas, Evelyn McCormick and her husband Arthur, brother-in-law Michael Gannon and his wife Margaret and many nieces, nephews and close friends that she dearly loved.

At Beverly's request there will be no calling hours or service. Burial will be at St. Bernard’s Cemetery in Lyon Mountain where she will reunite with John the love of her life.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street in Plattsburgh.
