Blondine B Peters

Plattsburgh Blondine B. (LaRose) Peters, 87, formerly of Flynn Ave., passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the CVPH Medical center with family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh on September 26, 1926, the daughter of the late Alfred and Colombe (La Jeune) LaRose. Blondine attended Our Lady of Victory School and later was employed at Harris RF Communication in Rochester, NY. Blondine married Nicholas Peters in 1962 in Rochester, NY. She was a member of Our Lady Victory church in Plattsburgh. She is survived by her sisters; Marjorie LaRose of Plattsburgh, Anita Reynolds of Champlain, Freda Stone of Chazy, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews and dear friends. Blondine is predeceased by her husband, Nicholas, her sisters; Agnes Lovece and Dora May LaRose LaRocque. Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 2, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 1:30 pm at Our Lady of Victory Church. Entombment will be at Whispering Maples Mausoleum on the Tom Miller Rd. in Plattsburgh. In lieu of flowers, donations in Blondine's memory may be made to the Palliative Nursing Unit at CVPH or to one's charity of choice.
