Brenda A Bingel

Brenda A. Bingel, 74, of Cook Street in Dannemora, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 at the Vermont Respite Home in Colchester, Vermont. She was born in Potsdam, NY on March 24, 1947, the daughter of the late Gerald and Donalda (Tucker) Armstrong.
Brenda graduated from Chateaugay High School and OLVA Secretarial School. She was employed by the NYS Department of Corrections until her retirement in 2002. She and her husband John enjoyed travelling to many Caribbean destinations with Tommy Condon’s Tours. She also enjoyed watching her grandsons games and trips to the casino .
She is survived by husband of 53 years, John S. Bingel, two sons and their spouses; Stephen and April Bingel of Plattsburgh, Tom Bingel and companion Kelli Rose of Dannemora, a sister and brother in law; Carol and Gerald Patterson of Greece, NY, her grandchildren; Zachary, Samuel, and Veda Bingel and several nieces , nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by an infant brother Gerald Alan Armstrong.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial donations may be offered to the Lyon Mountain Mining Museum.
