Brenda J Provost

Cadyville Mrs. Brenda J. Provost, 72, of the Bart Merrill Road in Cadyville, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 at her home. She was born in Plattsburgh on January 26, 1940, the daughter of the late Frank and Arissa LaPorte. Brenda enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by a son and daughter in law; Ricky and Sherry Provost of Cadyville, three daughters and two sons in law; Tina Provost of Cadyville, Paula and John Weightman of Cadyville, Patty and Mike Coryea of Altona, a sister: Margaret Reome of Plattsburgh, a brother and sister in law; Michael and Violet LaPorte of Plattsburgh, her brothers in law and sisters in law; Frank and Linda Provost, Anthony and Loretta Lovecchio , Judy Laware and Nettie Provost 7 grandchildren; Matthew Provost, Megan and Brittney Weightman, Tiffany Provost, Crystal Wilson, Rick Provost, Jr. and Nathan Coryea, 4 great grandchildren; Neil LaGoy, Jr., Ally Wilson, Landon Provost and Lydia Provost, and several nieces and nephews. Her husband, Harry H. Provost passed away on November 2, 1996. Several brothers and sisters also passed away earlier. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2012 from 9:00am to 10:30am at the Brown Funeral Home, 3 Park Row in Cadyville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 11:00am at St. Joseph's Church in Dannemora. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
