Brian F Loftus

Plattsburgh Mr. Brian F. Loftus, 46, of Flynn Avenue, Plattsburgh, New York, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2010 at the CVPH Medical Center. He was born in Plattsburgh, New York on September 15, 1963 the son of Alphonsus and Eileen (Riley) Loftus. Brian was a graduate of Beekmantown Central School Class of 1982. He served in the U. S. Marines from 1982-1986, serving in Beirut and then served in the Army National Guard for 16 years. Brian was employed as a cook in several area restaurants, the last being Hitchcock's. He enjoyed gardening and he had a good green thumb. Brian was predeceased by his parents Alphonsus and Eileen Loftus. He is survived by a brother Michael Loftus and his wife Kim of Plattsburgh, three sisters Patricia Loftus of Morrisonville, Kathleen Gibson of Strongstown, PA and Mary Kleber of Plattsburgh, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive him. Calling hours will be held on Monday July 12, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh, a funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. Interment with military honors will follow at Holy Angel's Cemetery in Altona.
