Bruce H Darrah

Plattsburgh Mr. Bruce H. Darrah, 62, formerly of the Irish Settlement Road Plattsburgh, New York, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at CVPH Medical Center with his family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh, New York on January 27, 1948 the son of Harold and Josie (Carter) Darrah. Bruce was a die hard New York Yankees fan. He enjoyed writing poetry, country music, and had sponsored a child through a Catholic Charity. Bruce had been a resident of the Clinton County Nursing Home for over forty years. He was predeceased by his parents, his paternal grandparents Ernest and Grace Darrah. Bruce is survived by two sisters, Susan L. Rock and her husband, Gary "Grub" of Plattsburgh, Kathleen Butchino and her husband, Elder "Butch" of Davenport, FL; one brother, Jack J. "Ernie" Darrah and his wife, Alison of Plattsburgh, his very special cousins Robert and Jolene Wallace and their daughter Janene, his secretarial niece Julie Rock, his nieces and nephews, Jamey and Jessica Rock, Kylee and Joel Butchino, Brock and Jacklyn Darrah, aunts, uncles and his friends at the Clinton County Nursing Home. Calling hours will be private and at the convenience of the family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church.
