Byron A Lagoy

Altona Mr. Byron A. LaGoy, 69, of Jerusalem Road in Altona, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2011 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with his family by his side. He was born in Altona on July 21, 1941, the son of the late William and Loretta (Clark) LaGoy. Byron enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, and his pride and joy was his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Priscilla (Guerin) LaGoy, his children and their spouses; Mrs. Cathryn Goss of Ellenburg Depot, Wayne and Michelle LaGoy of Ellenburg Depot, Albert and Sherrie LaGoy of Ellenburg Depot, F. James and June LaBelle of Mooers, David and Wanda LaBarge of Ellenburg Depot, Ronnie and Kim Blake of Altona, 2 brothers and sisters in law; Albert and Louise LaGoy of Altona, Wallace and Sandra LaGoy of Ellenburg Depot, 19 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 3123 Miner Farm Road in Altona. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at 11:00 am from Holy Angels Church in Altona. Interment will be in the parish cemetery at a later date.
