Candice M Myers

Peru Candice M. Myers, 62, of Laphams Mills Road in Peru, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the UVM Health Network-CVPH in Plattsburgh with family and close friends by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh on August 18,1952, the daughter of the late Allen and Doris (Holds) Myers. Candice was employed at Head Start for many years where her mother was instrumental in starting the program. Most recently, she was employed at Schonbek Co. in Plattsburgh for several years until her retirement. She enjoyed quilting, camping, birdwatching especially Cardinals and loved the outdoors. She is survived by her children; Jennifer McGovern , her husband Aaron and their son Christopher of Peru, Allen John Breyette of Rhode Island, a brother and sister in law; William and Kimberly Myers of Plattsburgh and their children Lindsey and Casey Myers, a sister; Starr Lynn Garland of Plattsburgh, a brother ;Joseph Garland of New York City, and her faithful canine companion Lilly. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 1:00pm to 3:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh.
