Carl R Clukey

Plattsburgh Carl R. Clukey, 82, of Plattsburgh, was taken to Heaven by Angels, on Friday, September 8, 2017 at the UVM CVPH Medical Center. He was born on June 21, 1935, the son of the late Raymond and Leona (Frederick) Clukey. Carl enjoyed trying his luck playing BINGO and scratch-off tickets. In his free time he could be found fishing or watching old movies. His greatest love was spending time with his family and telling them stories. He is survived by his children; Raymond Clukey and his wife Jackie, William Clukey, Sally Ann Baker and her husband Michael, Sherry Lapham, Christine Lasalle and her husband Charles, Bernadette Kelly and her companion Shawn, his 14 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, his siblings; Gary Clukey and Beverly Broe, close friends; Roger Whitney and Kippy Lawrence. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Patricia, great-grandchildren; Fantasia Wells and Jasmine Raye Wells, his brother Robert Clukey, and his beloved canine, Rags. Calling hours will be Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
