Carl Wood

Carl W. “Woody” Wood, 73, of Keeseville, NY passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at home with his loving family by his side under the care of Hospice of the North Country. He was born in Niagra Falls, NY on April 28, 1947 the son of Mary L. (Howard) Wood. Carl enlisted in the U. S. Marine Corps and proudly served his country in Vietnam. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.
Carl was predeceased by his mother and his in laws Frank and Frances Walsh.
He is survived by his wife of forty nine years Janice (Walsh) Wood, two sons; Jeffrey C. Wood, Ronald E. Wood and his children Hailee and Matthew Wood and his companion Erika Kollinger, a sister and brother-in-law Linda and Reginald Breyette, several nieces and nephews. Carl is also survived by Ruth, Kay, Ann and Sonny whom he considered family.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Entombment will be at the Plattsburgh Community Mausoleum.
