Carol A. Bousquet, 80, formerly of Mason Street, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Meadowbrook Healthcare with family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh on October 24, 1940, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary (Bouvia) Anderson.
Carol was employed at A. Schonbek Co. for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed genealogy, crocheting, cross stitching, traveling and wintering in Florida with her husband Edgar.
She is survived by her children; Craig Bousquet and his wife Angela of Peru, Dena Rock and her husband David of Morrisonville and Michael Bousquet and his companion Aime Fountain of CA, eleven grandchildren; Joshua, Megan, Brent, Adam, Casey, Jessica, Shawn Corey, Rebecca, Sarah, and Stephanie, five great grandchildren; Connor, Ava, Levi, Aiden and Rieland, a cousin whom she thought of as a sister Junie Pajak, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Edgar J. Bousquet on August 7, 2021. Her stepfather Nelson Richards whom she thought of as a father and two sisters also passed away earlier.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. Interment will be in St. Peter’s cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be offered to the Alzheimers Assistance Center at SUNY Plattsburgh.. The family wishes to thank the staff at Meadowbrook Healthcare for the love and care given to Mom.
