Carol T. Franks, 88, of Plattsburgh, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Niagara Falls on February 6, 1934, the daughter of Charles and Mildred (Bazel) Adams.
Carol was proud of her Polish heritage and enjoyed cooking and baking traditional Polish cuisine. She was an avid reader who also loved the time she spent with her many grandchildren. She took pride in her home gardens, loved to travel and was an incredible seamstress. She took pleasure in crossword puzzles, watching the Dr. Phil show and taking long walks.
She is survived by her sister, Joan Batchev of Blasdell, N.Y., her children; Bonnie and David Bolster of Goffstown, N.H., April and David Chandler of Newport News, VA, Dean and Anne Franks of Keeseville, N.Y. and Amy and Thomas Parent of Plattsburgh, N.Y. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren all who have filled her life with joy.
She will now be reunited with her devoted husband of 44 years, James E. Franks.
There will be no public calling hours. A graveside service will be Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 11:00am at Riverside Cemetery.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a celebration of Carols life which will be held at Merons Restaurant, 110 Bailey Avenue, Plattsburgh, NY at 3 pm on Saturday, June 25th.
