Carol A Mehan

Morrisonville Carol A. Mehan, 71, of Soper Street, Morrisonville, NY passed away on Friday March 25, 2016 at her home with her family by her side under the care of Hospice of the North Country. She was born in Plattsburgh on February 23, 1945 the daughter of Gaetano and Mary (Chicelli) Ciccone. Carol married Larry Mehan on April 18, 1964 at St. John's Church in Plattsburgh. She Worked at Monahan Medical in Plattsburgh for many years. Carol enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, an infant son Larry, Jr., a brother-in-law Steven Mehan and a brother-in-law Thomas Sherman and a brother and sister-in-law George "Chick" and Elise Ciccone. Carol is survived by a son Patrick Mehan of Morrisonville, a daughter April Barcomb and her husband Todd of Mooers, two grandchildren Madison and Ava Barcomb, a sister-in-law Ellen "Nell" Sherman of Peru, several nieces and nephews also survive her. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday March 29, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh, a funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. The burial will be on Wednesday March 30, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Peter's Cemetery.
