Carolyn A Bussey

Carolyn A. Bussey, 56, of Grace Avenue, Plattsburgh, NY, passed away on Thursday June, 20, 2019. She was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on May 15, 1963 the daughter of Courtland and Marjorie (Flynn) Bussey.
Carolyn graduated from Saranac Central School in 1981 and later went on to earn her License Practical Nursing License in 1984. She worked at the Clinton County Nursing Home, retiring after 20 years of service. Carolyn enjoyed gardening, animal and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her father.
She is survived by her mother Marjorie Bussey of Plattsburgh, her longtime companion Joseph Musso of Plattsburgh, her son Ryan Bussey and his wife Jaqueline of Texas, four grandchildren; Hannah, Mason, Henley and Everleigh, a step daughter Amber Musso, her children; Essynce, Amara, Devai, Kyrin, Astoria and Loxxen, her siblings; Susan (John) Verba, Daniel (Colleen) Bussey, Jean (Greg) Tapia, Joan Bussey and Shawna (Chris) Bussey-DeAngelo, several nieces and nephews also survive her and her cat Harley.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday June 30, 2019 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh, a funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of flowers donations in Carolyn’s memory may be made to the Elmore SPCA.
