Catherine M. Donaldson Brewster

Catherine M. Donaldson Brewster of Cogan Avenue, Plattsburgh, NY., passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024, at the UVM CVPH Medical Center. She was born in Plattsburgh, NY on January 27, 1954. She is survived by her husband, Felton Brewster, whom she married on April 10, 1999; her daughter, Ianthe Brewster of The Colony, Texas; her stepson, Felton Brewster, Jr. of Pensacola, Florida; her brother Lawrence Donaldson, of Cortland, New York; Charles Donaldson, her Grandchildren – Sundaea Brewster, Dayvion Cruz, Zion Cruz, Karma Pok, Maranda, Trayvone, Malinda, and Dayvione Brewster. Catherine was predeceased by her parents, Mae and Henry Donaldson; her siblings Harriet Brainard, Margaret Donaldson, Diann Walker, Wayne Donaldson, Donald Donaldson, George Donaldson, Garry Donaldson and her son David Lee Brewster. Cathy was an integral part of the Norman and Leona Davison family. Predeceased by Bruce and Betty Davison and survived by Maria (Davison) Foster and Elizabeth Davison and their families. Cathy worked on and off over the years; both in Long Island and here in the North Country. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crocheting. Many baby blankets were made over the years and given out as gifts. Cathy had a love for animals, especially dogs. Cardinal birds also held a special place in her heart. Calling hours will be on Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 10:00 am-12:00 noon at the Brown Funeral Home 29 Broad Street Plattsburgh. Burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to her husband Felton Brewster 11 Cogan Avenue Plattsburgh, NY 12901 to use as the family sees fit. Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home 29 Broad Street, Plattsburgh, NY.
