Wolf, 63, of Michaele Avenue in Plattsburgh, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Burlington, Vermont on April 18, 1948, the daughter of Robert and Betty (Barnum) Comstock. Charlene was a graduate of Clinton Community College with a degree in Business Administration. She was employed at CVPH for many years and most recently at Media Central. She was a member of the Plattsburgh Noon Kiwanis Club and was active in "Go Red for Women". She was also an avid gardener and reader and rescued many feral cats in the area. Family and friends were very important to Charlene. She is survived by her brother and sister in law Craig and Michelle Comstock of Barre, Vermont, her sister and brother in law Barbara and Mark Couture of Barre, Vermont, her nieces and nephews; Alicia and Peter Lyford and their children Aidan, Ella and Nolan, Tyler and Kira Comstock and their daughter Nora, Andy and Brad Couture, and Alex Comstock. Her parents passed away earlier. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 10:00 am at St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh. Interment will be in Monkton Vermont at a later date. Memorial donations may be offered to the Nursing Education Fund c/o the CVPH Foundation..
