Charles J. Carlo

Charles J. Carlo, 62, of Plattsburgh, died on Thursday, September 14, 2023. Charlie was born on April 28, 1961, the eldest son of Charles Marx Carlo and Sandra Sue (Caska). He had a 35+ year career working in Sheet Metal for Local 83, mostly for the family business, Plattsburgh Sheet Metal. Charlie was an avid lover of motocross and motorcycle riding, having previously been a member of Legion Riders Post 1619. Charlie leaves behind his wife, Teri-Joi; son, Caeden; his parents, Charlie and Sandy; brothers: Christopher; and Jerry and his partner, Amy Morin; nephews: Christopher (Topper) and Kyler Carlo; niece, Kayla Frenyea; several aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as four stepchildren, Cassandra, Chad, Chelsea and Kyle; and many friends. A private service for the family is being entrusted with Brown Funeral Home with final entombment at St. Peter’s Cemetery Columbarium. A Celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion Post 1619, details are forthcoming.
