Charles G "Chuck" Reil

Charles G. "Chuck" Reil, 44, of Cusprini Way, passed away Monday, November 17, 2008 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in New Groton, Connecticut on April 20, 1964, son of Alfred and Phyllis (Favro) Reil. Charles was employed by the Pipe Fitters and Steam Fitters Local #773 for many years, doing the work he loved. His favorite enjoyment was spending time with his son, daughter and grandson. Other favorite pastimes were watching his son play baseball, fishing in the Saranac River with his fishing buddies. He will be greatly missed by all. Charles is survived by his father, Alfred Reil of Plattsburgh, his son, Chad Reil of Plattsburgh, a daughter, Leslie Beshaw of Plattsburgh, a grandson, Wyatt Hendrie, a brother, Paul Reil of New Groton, Connecticut, a nephew, Patrick Reil, his closest uncle, Walter Reil, longtime friend Cherie Hicks, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Charles was pre-deceased by his mother, Phyllis Reil. Calling hours and funeral services will be private, at the convenience of his family. Following cremation, burial will be at a later date. Donations in the memory of Charles G. Reil may be made to the St. John's Feral Fund.
