Chauncey M Dragoon

Chauncey M. Dragoon, 94, formerly of State Route 22B, Morrisonville, New York passed away Monday, January 7, 2019 at the Meadowbrook Health Care Facility with his family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh, New York on April 20, 1924 the son of Merton and Pearl (Corrow) Dragoon He married Hazel Terrier on April 20, 1944 at St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville. Chauncey retired from Georgia Pacific in Plattsburgh after many years. He enjoyed camping, fishing, woodworking, hunting, being in the woods, tinkering and spending time with his family. He is predeceased by his parents, his wife, Hazel. Chauncey is survived by his children; Michael Dragoon, Joan Rock and her husband Stephen, Judith Facteau and her husband Larry, Peggy Mello and her husband Martin, her grandchildren Jason Rock and his wife Jennifer, Michelle Perry and her husband Steven, Marc Facteau and his wife Christine, Angel Drollette and her husband James, Ashley Dupra and her companion Robert, James Dupra and his wife Vanessa, Cameron Mello, Jessica Dragoon, Shawn Dragoon, Kianna Dragoon, Michael "Mikie" Dragoon II, Corey Dragoon and several great grandchildren. Calling hours will be Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday January 11, 2019 at 1:00 pm at St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville. Interment will be at a later date at St. Alexander's Cemetery.
