Cheryl R Collins

Cheryl "Chy" Rose Collins, 71, of Plattsburgh, NY passed away on Sunday January 8, 2023 at Plattsburgh Rehab and Nursing. She was born in Plattsburgh on August 27, 1951, the daughter of Otis and Lois Collins, Sr..
Cheryl graduated from St. John's Academy. Her legacy was dedicating her life to stepping up and raising the young children of her family. Cheryl loved to crochet, search word puzzles and puzzling.

She was predeceased by her parents, a brother Otis Collins Jr and her nephews; Paul Longe, Jr. and Robert Longe.

Cheryl is survived by her brother Mike Collins, who was very devoted to her, a sister Shirley Longe, an aunt, Joyce Wood, her nieces; Christina, Laurie, great nieces and great nephews; Paul (Annie), Emily (Brett), Kyle, Brandon, Logan, Connor, Aidan, Anthony, Ben, Cooper, great great niece and great great nephew; Lily and Theodore, several cousins also survive her.

A celebration of life will be announced later in the spring. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Plattsburgh.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.
